StandUp! is a youth focused video with accompanying discussion guide that helps increase skills to be active bystanders. The interactive video includes a current example of teens at a party and how witnesses can realistically and safely intervene when they notice potentially dangerous situations. The discussion guide allows the audience to dig deeper into what it means to be an active bystander and practice scenarios to gain skills as bystanders.

The video includes actual teens in Ohio who helped revise and modify the script to be more relevant. Some evaluation data is also available the demonstrates the effectiveness of the program.

StandUp! is designed to begin the conversation about bystander intervention among teens. The 1 hour discussion should be used as a starter conversation for more training and information to be held in the future.  It can also be used to help raise awareness among community members.
