HEART Women & Girls
HEART works to promote sexual health and prevent gender-based violence in Muslim communities through culturally responsive health education, advocacy, research, and training. HEART gives Muslim women and girls the resources they need to live out their values in the way they choose.
HEART offers culturally sensitive resources that promote Muslim women's rights, agency, healing, mindfulness, and anonymity. Their online resource center features publications on sexual and reproductive health for women and girls, information for parents on how to have "the Sex Talk," videos and webinar recordings on health and sexual violence, and more. HEART also offers in-person workshops to equip student leaders and other professionals to serve the sexual and reproductive health needs of Muslim communities.
HEART's blog provides information on topics such as sex ed, mental well-being, sexual violence, and youth development. Users can also ask questions and get more information from HEART's virtual educators with the website's "Ask a Question" function.
Visit HEART's website to access the online resource center or request an in-person training.
