#PowerInPrevention Ending Child Sexual Abuse: Prevention through Understanding and Addressing Sexual Behavior of Children

Date:
Tuesday, 25 July 2017

Although many parents would wish otherwise, sexual development occurs across childhood. Friendship, relationships, communication, nurturance, and intimacy are challenging to manage well. Children’s easy access to technology has further complicated children’s behavior and protective responses. The presenters for this web conference will discuss typical sexual development and problematic sexual behavior of children. Effective strategies to prevent and respond children to support healthy relationship and development will be discussed. They will also discuss new training and other resources recently developed and available.
