PreventIPV Newsletter: "Love Like That" for TDVAM & BHM

Date:
Thursday, 1 February 2024

“Advocating for your presence to be acknowledged will never fail.” - Shariah Miller, National Youth Prevention Town Hall

In February, we recognize both Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month (TDVAM) and Black History Month (BHM). We are amplifying Love Is Respect's TDVAM 2024 theme, Love Like That, as we model love as action and an investment in safe and healthy relationships and communities for all. This month and always, we uplift the connections between dating violence prevention and honoring Black history by centering the leadership of Black youth, who "carry the defiance and brilliance of our ancestors."

This issue of the PreventIPV newsletter features opportunities for engagement around TDVAM, promising youth-centered programming, and newly released publications.
