Stories have the power to shape the future. By sharing our stories and deeply listening to each other, we will discover the possibilities of a collective future, a whole thriving world.

Stories of Our Collective Future is a campaign created by the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence for middle school/junior high and high school youth and features the art of Cuban American illustrator Cristy C. Road.

The goal of the Stories of Our Collective Future campaign is to strengthen community interconnectedness and shine light on the future we choose now. Hearing each other’s stories and telling our own will help us rediscover and rebuild our relationships to each other and move us towards collective thriving. The campaign features a guide for facilitating story circles with youth and artwork highlighting values such as love, wholeness, and abundance.

Facilitators can use the story circle guide to gather groups of young people – clubs, classrooms or school-wide – to share stories and learn from each other. The guide and campaign artwork are available from the Idaho Coalition’s website.
