NEW PUBLICATION: Continuing the Dialogue
In the early 2000s, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention reviewed theoretical frameworks for sexual violence prevention and sought input from external partners in the field, resulting in the publication Sexual Violence Prevention: Beginning the Dialogue (2004), which helped to launch a national conversation about moving upstream to prevent violence before it occurs. CDC's newly released publication, Continuing the Dialogue: Learning from the Past and Looking to the Future of Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention, serves as a follow-up piece to Beginning the Dialogue, exploring lessons learned over the past 15 years and highlighting paths forward for the prevention field.
