Trauma-informed principles are often relegated to solely mental health or crisis intervention work when in reality, trauma-informed principles can benefit people in all sorts of scenarios, sectors, and work environments. In the current context of the Great Resignation, many are beginning to identify the ways trauma and secondary trauma contribute to organizational burnout in the absence of a trauma-informed work culture.
