State Action Planning and Coalition Building to Prevent Sexual and Intimate Partner Violence

Date:
Wednesday, 22 July 2020

Partnerships and collaboration make the work to prevent sexual and intimate partner violence stronger and more sustainable. One way to deeply engage with partners is through coalition building and state action planning processes. Partners can include those across public health and other state departments, state coalitions, and state agencies working on specific risk and protective factors for sexual and intimate partner violence. State action planning and coalition building should mirror the work to prevent sexual and intimate partner violence, and web conference guests will share how they are keeping anti-racism and anti-oppression and the center of state action plans and collaborations. Join PreventConnect and teams from California and Pennsylvania to learn how they leverage partnerships, keep partners engaged, and coordinate statewide prevention work across systems to prevent multiple forms of violence.
