Spring 2018 Newsletter: Embrace Your Voice for #SAAM
“The things you say every day send a message about your beliefs and values. When you stand up for survivors of sexual violence, you send a powerful message that you believe and support them.” – National Sexual Violence Resource Center
Your voice matters! In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, our friends at the National Sexual Violence Resource Center are calling on all of us to use our voices to support survivors, promote everyday consent, and practice healthy communication with children. By embracing our voices, we can create a culture of respect, equality, and safety for all.
Throughout the month, the PreventIPV project is highlighting 4 "tools of the week" featuring strategies for using your voice to prevent sexual violence.
This issue showcases promising practices that support student activism, and highlights opportunities for engagement and learning for #SAAM and beyond.
