Happy Father's Day

“I do this work so that my daughter, granddaughter and millions of adults and children know that they deserve to thrive in a world that is filled with love and support rather than violence and abuse.” —Damien Frierson, Division of Family Violence Prevention Services

This Father’s Day, NRCDV celebrates the fathers and paternal caregivers who work to create a better world for their children by modeling respect, equity, and nonviolence in their relationships, homes, and communities. In this special issue of the NRCDV newsletter, fathers who use their positive influence to challenge attitudes and beliefs that support gender-based violence share their reflections on fatherhood and building promising futures for their children.
