“Greening & Growing” Strategies to Create Protective Environments and Prevent Sexual & Domestic Violence

Wednesday, 17 January 2024

Public health and violence prevention practitioners are increasingly recognizing the critical role that the natural environment plays in shaping relationships and human and environmental health, safety, and wellbeing. In this web conference presenters will explore how we can improve safety and wellbeing and reduce violence through “greening and growing” strategies. Prevention Institute will offer a brief overview  of these strategies, particularly in the context of preventing sexual and domestic violence prevention, drawing from those that are included in CDC’s intimate partner violence and sexual violence prevention Resources for Action guides.
